A very nice Summer evening for the metro, but we heat up more Monday with spotty afternoon storms.
Another cool morning for the area, but lots of sunshine will mean a quick warm-up today. Temperatures will be near 80 by Noon with afternoon highs around 85 degrees.
It was an intense day for Omaha Police after a domestic assault led to a homicide investigation, a search for a person of interest, a high-speed chase, and an officer-involved shooting death.
Great summer weather continues this evening with temperatures in the 70s. More sunshine and warmth is expected Sunday.
